Providing Comments to CAPTE About Programs Under Review

As part of the CAPTE accreditation review process, institutions host an onsite evaluation of the program under consideration.  Each spring and fall, CAPTE  meets to make accreditation decisions.  At its spring meeting, the Commission reviews programs that hosted a fall onsite visit. Candidates for Accreditation (A)

These programs have admitted at least one class of students and have been granted Candidate for Accreditation status by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education. Candidacy status indicates that a program is making satisfactory progress toward compliance with accreditation criteria,

Programs with Full-Time Program Director (C)

These programs are placed on this list when the Department of Accreditation is officially notified that a Program Director has been employed. These programs are in the early stages of development; no students have been admitted.
