  • Implementing Evidence-Based Practice

    To help clinical settings implement research/evidence into practice, APTA is collecting existing and developing new resources that provide practical and innovative information on incorporating evidence into everyday practice. Resources include information on a variety of methods, models, and real-life examples with application to various settings and patient populations.

  • Physical Therapy Outcomes Registry

    APTA is developing a national registry for clinical outcomes, providing a much needed database to improve clinical research and evidence-based care, and to support payment for physical therapy services.

  • Hooked on Evidence

    Search article extractions or clinical scenarios for evidence related to physical therapist interventions. (Note: Hooked on Evidence stopped accepting new article extractions in 2014 but remains as a historical database.)

  • Physical Therapy (PTJ)

    Journal of the American Physical Therapy Association - publishes clinical practice guidelines, systematic reviews, protocols, and articles linking evidence and practice (LEAP), plus randomized controlled trials and other original research.
